wilcal
There was a three-week cycle because the planning commission took the July 4th week off, so I'm guessing they must have accidentally missed their window to extend the validity of the plat.

hindesky
I can't tell if they are doing a by-hand demo of the two remaining buildings or rehabbing them. I guess the Allied Orion apartment project fell through.

E.Res
Are you saying there won’t be any apartments across the street from Eado Broadstone ?

Although I have zero clue, I'm thinking the homes shown in the photo are not part of the 2300 Polk St and the 0 Clay Ave parcels. The demo'd lot shown at 2305 Bell St is part of the 2305 Bell St parcel. The same for the homes at 2307 Bell St and 2309 Bell St. The 2305 Bell St parcel was purchased earlier this year. It doesn't appear the owner of the Bell St parcel is associated with the 2300 Polk St parcel. https://www.houstonarchitecture.com/haif/topic/52044-2305-bell-st/ 44 minutes ago, IntheKnowHouston said: Below is a map outlining the 2305 Bell St parcel. https://www.houstonarchitecture.com/haif/topic/52044-2305-bell-st/ 34 minutes ago, IntheKnowHouston said: Edited August 4, 2023 by IntheKnowHouston
Sanjorade
Perhaps the plans changed for the complex and these homes went up for sale. Will be good to have more bars/restaurants there. Ideally, the apartments get built as well just with a slightly altered layout.
