I don't think that the property in Midtown has transacted yet, so their lease hasn't ended there. No way that they move without the lease being terminated. Different brands. I’ll try and get a pic. Edited April 20, 2023 by Sanjorade
E.Res
I think it might be buses from visitors in Houston, not Greyhound.

cspwal
I never drive to east downtown so if anyone does, is the parking really so constrained we needed another parking lot?
JBTX
Thursday through Sunday nights, yes. Or you could bike. Or take the train. Or walk. But we know what 95%+ of this city prefers to do.

I live a few blocks from here ... on weekends it can be very busy, especially at night and especially when there are soccer / baseball games. There are free street parking options a few blocks away on the other side of Emancipation, but Houston folk are too lazy to walk a few blocks. 1
cspwal
I live where the free street parking is and there are always spots even with on Saturday nights. But I haven’t tried parking close so I didn’t know first hand
IntheKnowHouston
It seems @HNathoo's speculation may have been right: On 8/19/2022 at 9:54 AM, HNathoo said: They would be the logical buyers for this, given that all the parking for East Village will be taken via eminent domain. Ancorian may be use this entire block for East Village parking.

Me and my friends go here from time to time on a busy weekend, usually find parking no more than 10 minutes. Its really not needed IMO

hindesky
I was here pretty early this morning so no workers had shown up yet. I think they will do the whole thing eventually.

IntheKnowHouston
With nearly the entire block paved for surface parking, the building at 1315 St Emanuel St / 1315 Saint Emanuel St remains. I wonder if Ancorian will rehab the standing warehouse? And if so, what plans does Ancorian have in mind for this block?
