Highrise Tower
Ironically, I was just thinking about this forest land last week! I was creating a HAIF thread and then decided not to post it. 7-days later I see a Loopnet listing! Someone was reading my mind. Is this apart of the Wildcat Golf Course? I have seen signs posted from Wildcat that say "No swimming, No fishing. Private property". Looking at the supplied images from Loopnet, the two bodies of water that Wildcat owns is not apart of this. The signs are posted closer towards Almeda Road. When the city was expanding West Airport, they also built paved entrances into the vacant parcels of forest land. The road infrastructure is already there and ready for development! Given the area, I could see a large residential community here. Either single family homes, townhomes, or 3-story duplexes. 53-acres is a lot of land near the city's core. I really hope an institution buys this and builds a campus of sorts. Hospital campus, BioTech research campus, or an educational campus. If you think about it, that area is already sparked by 2 large forthcoming campuses. You have the TMC BioPort campus, and then the UT's 307-acres for sale. It's a little weird driving through this section of West Airport. It's like a country road with forests on both sides of you. Every time I drive through I wonder when someone will buy it and build. Lets go!! Loopnet listing: https://www.loopnet.com/Listing/W-Airport-Boulevard-Rd-Houston-TX/26947830/
