Delmonico's Park Leased.
Deal Closed for Ten Years to Harris and Backenstoe.

By the term of a lease practically closed yesterday between William Angerhoefer, Jr. and Harris & Backenstoe, the latter have taken a ten-year lease on Angerhoefer's garden, on the Harrisburg Road. The contract will be signed today. 

Extensive plans for improving and adapting the park to the requirements of a city pleasure garden are entertained by the lessees.

"We will probably spend upwards of $50,000 in improvements," said Mr. Harris. "Our plans are not entirely worked out, but they will include an entire remodeling of the park and the construction and installation of amusement and pastime features such as go to make up a city pleasure park. Among these will be natitorium.
