wilcal
Quote Bravery Chef Hall Italian spot Figo Sugo will operate a coffee-and-panini outpost with outdoor seating. Even if they are baking the pizzas downtown, I would take reheated slices in the caboose. I hope they can figure out a little bit more. So so pumped for this! EastwoodEnvoy
Figo Sugo's baked goat cheese is one of the best bites I had in Houston in 2023. I have HIGH expectations for the little caboose .

IntheKnowHouston
A Class 2 subdivision replat (C2R) was recently submitted for three lots at 4107 McKinney St and 4109 McKinney St. The subdivision plat is named Downtown Eastwood District. According to the information submitted, the reason for replat is "to create one unrestricted reserve." It looks like this will be on the agenda for the next Houston planning commission meeting on April 18. The L.M. Greco Building at 4109 McKinney St will soon be home to Willow's Texas BBQ.
wilcal
Their plat was approved, but there was a requirement to dedicate 16' to McKinney (due to being called out to being an 80' ROW on the MTFP) and 5.85' to Oakhurst. They are asking for a variance to not dedicate and the adjust the building line as the dedication would have them dedicate roughly half the building to the city.

hindesky
The Planning Commission approved the variance request. The camera operator for the planning meeting either needs new glasses or was not paying attention so lots of the diagrams posted at the meeting are out of focus. Plus he or she had a hair trigger finger when moving to the next slide so it was easy to miss some of them. The business' name may be Eastwood Station. As noted in previous posts, the operators previously ran Figo Sugo. It was a food stall which recently closed at Bravery Chef Hall (409 Travis St.) The caboose eatery will serve coffee and paninis.
