Ross Posted July 1, 2023 Share Posted July 1, 2023 The Red Book has data on Blacks and their businesses, schools, etc in the early 20th Century. Bruce Elementary still exists at 510 Jensen. Here's the website https://www.houstonisd.org/domain/25756 In 1925 the school was at the corner of Cage and Nance. The 1943 aerial shows a decent size building there.
