Highrise Tower Posted July 4 Share Posted July 4 In 1911, there was a "Pleasure Resort" that acted as an Amusement Park located on Harrisburg Road and Eleventh Street. The place was called Magnolia Pleasure Resort. Do we know about this one? There was an amusement park called Eden's Amusement Park located at 6408 Harrisburg Blvd. However, I don't think the two were the same? The Pleasure Resort featured all the usual amusements. Boating, racing, train rides, Ferris wheel, marry go round, ice cream stands, soda stands, and a theater. Drawing of the amusement park. Kind of hard to see.
