hindesky
This permit for a new ground up Wells Fargo with the address being their drive thru makes me think they are selling the two story building. hindesky
The Wells Fargo Drive Thru is fenced off. Assuming demo will be coming shortly and then they will build the new Wells Fargo which will open the existing location to be repurposed.

hindesky
I wish someone would separate the two projects as they have different addresses. The new Wells Fargo will be in the old drive-thru. Wells Fargo - 1404 W. Gray St.

hindesky
They made short shrift of the demolition. I assume the concrete driveways will be coming out too and will have to add stormwater handling capacities to the lot.

hindesky
Work is starting, first up is burying the stormwater culverts. I talked with the construction supervisor who said the building will be in the front and towards the Cafe Express, drive-thru to the right side and ATM in the back. He also said the vacant lot next to the old Wells Fargo parking area will be a high end pet food store, didn't know the brand name. He said he also built the new Comerica Bank on Memorial Dr. https://sagecommercialgroup.com
Houston19514
Are those “culverts” for rainwater detention/retention (I can never remember the difference)?

With Krisers/Natural Paws gone from 1515 W. Gray down the street, I wonder if they're going to try to make a comeback in a larger space? They only have two locations in the Houston area now per their website, which is a marked drop from a couple of years ago when they had like a dozen? Or will it be a Pet Supermarket/Pet Supplies Plus?
