bobruss
That shopping center has been updated at least 3 times in my lifetime. We used to live on the street behind it but down in the last block just up against the St. Vincent football field. There used to be a very good hardware store called Braes Hardware and there were about four older gentlemen who worked there that were extremely knowledgeable. Next door was Allens grocery store. It was a great neighborhood grocery about the size of trader joes. You could sign for your groceries. You just signed your name to the bill and they would send you the bill. You don't see that very often any more.

texas911
I drive by this place every day and the new signage is hard to read, white lettering that's offset behind a grey background. This is during the day, at night it reads fine.
IntheKnowHouston
Lick (also knowns as Lick Honest Ice Creams ) is likely opening a location at Braes Heights, 3737-3949 Bellaire Blvd. The Austin-based ice cream parlor is also planning at least two other scoop shops in the Houston area as discussed in other posts. One location is the Autry Park development and the other is the East River mixed-use development. I think the site plan posted below is the most recent plan available online, although I'm not certain which month it was uploaded. The site plan is from Braes Heights leasing materiels found on the shopping center's retail broker's site Shop Companies. https://shopcompanies.com/properties/braes-heights https://shopcompanies.com/properties/pdf/braes-heights Edited March 21, 2022 by IntheKnowHouston
