Montgomery County obtained the land as part of a wetlands mitigation project and turned it over to Legacy Land Trust with a conservation easement that will preserve it in its natural state for future generations."It's a good cooperative effort between the pubic and private sector to provide nature preserves for posterity," said Precinct 2 Commissioner Craig Doyal.
