Popular Post Geoff8201
Second tower crane base is in place. I was trying to limit my picture posts to every couple of weeks but a second crane getting into position is big news. I find myself fortunate that I get to see this unfold right next door and get to witness each step in the construction. These developments going up have always been interesting! (Hence being on HAIF) Hopefully will see Parcel 1 begin in October. 13

Popular Post CREguy13
This will be the most expensive office building in Houston. The Birdsall pre-sales are doing extremely well from what I hear. While still in design, Oxy's HQ will be incredible. All good things take time, this development will be a total gamechanger.

Parcel 7 is 4.7 acres so it will be significant. Back on Parcel 2 for the Vitol building, the first tower crane base that was set is gaining some height this morning!

astrohip
Received this reply... Thank you for your interest in The Birdsall Residences, Auberge Resorts Collection coming to the new development The RO by Transwestern Development Company. Groundbreaking on The RO has begun with the hotel and residences' groundbreaking quickly approaching this October. We will have 42 residences and two penthouses ranging in size from 2,886 SF to 5,441 SF for the residences (2-4 bedrooms) and 7,948 SF for the penthouses. Pricing starts close to $4.8M and we have just begun actively selling since May of this year. Residences will be private from the hotel and have its own amenities although all hotel services and amenities will be available to the residents. There will be a private membership component as well as members’ only areas that homeowners will be a part of and have access to as well as the Auberge Spa in the hotel. A truly best-in-class team has collaborated to bring a unique offering to Houston that it simply has not seen before. We have much more we can share with you at a private appointment at our sales studio if you would like to get something on the calendar. The developer will attend, as well, so all details, questions and concerns can be fully addressed. In the meantime, I am happy to help with any initial questions. I look forward to hearing back from you. If my math is correct, that's north of $1600/SQFT, which would be the priciest condos in town, by a factor of two. The River Oaks has been $800/900 sqft lately, and The Huntingdon, 2727 Kirby & Giorgetti $500/600. It also mentioned groundbreaking in October.

Popular Post hindesky
I was heading south on Fannin St. at Richmond Ave. when I see a truck/trailer carrying a yellow Liebherr tower crane vertical section heading southbound on IH69. I'm thinking he must be going to the RO because they are assembling the second tower crane, I was wrong. Brick mock ups got moved over here. 11
